5 ACCESSORY TRENDS FOR SPRING SUMMER YOU NEED NOW!
Lockdown is slowly lifting (in England anyway) and if you’re like me, you’ll be ready to update your wardrobe and get out and about again! In my opinion, accessories make or break an outfit so here are some of the accessory trends for Spring Summer 2021 and how to shop them on the high street.
As usual, all my picks are pretty, girly, feminine pieces!
1. A Market Tote
I don’t know if it’s because we’ve all been going out with nothing but our phone and face mask for so long, but this summer big bags are in. Fill it with as much as you can carry! Straw bags are also set to make a comeback so why not combine these two for an extra stylish look.
2. Face Masks
It’s probably no surprise that face masks are going to continue to be one of the essential accessory trends for spring summer. I’ve just added number 4 to my collection, it’s so glam but also super comfortable!
3. Large Hats
Over the top, extravagant hats have been all over the runways. I’ve toned things down a bit for this post to show some wearable options! If (when!) the sun comes out, grab your big hats ladies!
4. Modren Pearls
Of course, pearls have been a classic accessory for as long as we can remember. This season, pearls are back with a modern twist. Other jewellery trends include chunky chains and hammered metal. Statement earrings are also predicted to be huge (literally), especially if you mix and match them!
5. Silk Scarves
The trend is, to be worn in you hair but they are also a great way to refresh an old handbag! Or the classic way, round your neck! Spring and even summer can be quite cold in the UK so its always handy to have a beautiful scarf!
