5 MOST ICONIC GOSSIP GIRL FILMING LOCATIONS YOU SHOULD VISIT

New York City is just full of Gossip Girl filming locations. Gossip Girl was actually filmed in the city so the list of locations they used is really long!

This post is a list of the most iconic ones. Perfect for if this is your first time in New York or if you don’t have too much time to spare!

Gossip Girl Filming Locations in New York to visit.

1. Grand Central Terminal – 89 East 42nd Street

Grand Central, is the place where Gossip Girl started. Any Gossip Girl fan will know the reference: “Someone saw Serena getting off the train at Grand Central.”

This really should be on everyone’s list of places to visit, even if you’re not a Gossip Girl fan.

2. The Met Steps – 1000 5th Avenue

Located right outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is maybe the most iconic out of all the Gossip Girl filming locations. Made famous by Blair and the Constance Girls sitting there to wear their frozen yoghurt.

3. Constance Billard School – 1220 5th Avenue

Talking of the Constance Girls. Constance Billard isn’t actually a real school but you can visit the location it was filmed at. The building used is actually called The Museum of the City of New York. This location is pretty close to The Met steps so it’s totally believable that the girls would have hung out there!

4. The Bethesda Terrace and Fountain – Central Park

Quite possibly my favourite place in all of New York and definitely a must-see for everyone who visits this city.

Initially featured in Season 1, Episode 3 for the Serena and Blair makeup scene and then again for Chuck and Blair’s wedding in Season 6, episode 10.

5. The Empire State Building – 20 West 34th Street

I’m not sure any list of iconic places in New York would be complete without The Empire State Building.

Of course, this amazing building had to appear in Gossip Girl. Who wouldn’t want a proposal up here?!

Thank you for reading this list. I hope you enjoy visiting these locations. You might also like my post: ALL THE GOSSIP GIRL LOCATIONS IN NEW YORK
