4 AMAZING VIEWS TO SEE IN EDINBURGH

Edinburgh is quite a hilly city, one of the benefits of this, are all the fantastic views. Read on to find out about some amazing views to see in Edinburgh.

1. The Vennell Viewpoint

I’d seen this viewpoint on Instagram and really wanted to visit it! It’s not too hard to find if you know where to look but you probaly woldn’t just happen to pass it.

It is worth looking for as the view of the castle is just beautiful! This viewpoint is also completely free!

2. The View from Edinburgh Castle

The castle itself is one of the main attractions in Edinburgh. In my opinion, its worth a visit, just for the views over Edinburgh.

You do have to pay to go in to the castle, more informatoin can be found HERE. You can get similar views from just outside the castle for free though! Or just watch my short video below.

3. The Top of Calton Hill

It’s a short climb to the top of Calton Hill and it’s definately worth it! This is another completely free viewpoint where you can see over this city.

To get to the top only takes about 10 minutes. If you’re looking for a higher viewpoint you coiuld also try Arthur’s Seat.

4. The View from Princes Street Gardens

Princes Street Gardens is a lovely park. The views from the park are really worth checking out. My favourite spot was at Ross Fountain, looking up towards the castle on the hill. You can see it below!
