BEST LOOKS FROM LONDON FASHION WEEK
I love putting together the most on my favourite looks from New York Fashion Week, so I decided to do the same for London!
Designers were showing their Autumn / Winter collections. I really love looking at the designer’s shows for inspiration for the coming season.
All images are from the London Fashion Week website. You can see them and all the other shows HERE.
Day 1 – 18th February
Firstly, The gorgeous collection form Bora Asku aimed to combine romanticism and elegance which I think was achieved perfectly!
I also loved SOHUMAN’s collection, which is not only gorgeous but focuses on ethics and sustainability.
Day 2 – 19th February
Banshee of Savile Row is the first Savile Row women’s tailor to show at London Fashion Week. All of their pieces are hand-cut and bespoke. Eudon Choi takes masculine tailoring and gives it a feminine twist which I think is perfect!
I loved Huishan Zhang’s collection showing sophisticated but feminine pieces, in particular the two I’ve shown above. Isn’t tweed and feathers an amazing combination?
Molly Goddard’s signature fabric is tulle which I just love and she has used it in a really unique way here. Although, I can’t say I’m convinced by the green boots!
I’ve followed Pretty Affluent on Instagram for a while and was so pleased for Frances to be taking part in London Fashion Week as Part of Fashions Finest UK. The collection is simply lovely. Definitely, a designer to watch!
Day 3 – 20th February
AADNEVIK’s collection was my favourite from London Fashion Week, with so many gorgeous pieces, combining wearable with couture fashion.
Simone Rocha also showed some beautiful feminine pieces, but not quite as wearable!
Day 4 – 21st February
Emilia Wickstead showcases modern femininity, combining romance with a contemporary twist. Especially her use of structured silhouettes with pretty floral prints.
Just how adorable are these girly tailored pieces from Paul and Joe?! I can’t get enough of these pretty, pastel-coloured tweeds, these are going to be perfect this autumn.
Day 5 – 22nd February
Finally, I couldn’t quite decide if I loved or loathed the collection from Sheguang Hu. It certainly makes a statement. I decided on love because it gives me early Alexander McQueen vibes. Also, I feel like it could easily be toned down and suddenly very wearable.
Thank you for reading my post on the Best Looks from London Fashion Week. I hope you liked my choices and you’ve found them inspiring!
