Founded in 2016, Teddy Blake New York is a handbag brand that promises luxury handbags for less. The bags are made in Italy at the same factories as some of the other luxury brands and are all made from high-quality leather.
Teddy Blake has a wide range of chic styles that come in multiple colour options. Their bags will cost you between $300 and $600. While this is still quite a lot of money, it’s small in comparison to the $1500 – $2000 you’d pay for a Mulberry Bag or around $8000+ for a Birkin!
Honest Teddy Blake Handbag Review
I chose the Gigi Stampatto Gold 13″ bag in pink. This is a gorgeous Stampato Leather bag in a lovely pale pink colour, it has gold coloured hardwear and a detatchable strap. It also has a small zip up pocket inside.

Teddy Blake’s Shipping
The bags are all made at a factory in Italy but dispatched to costomers from their wharehous in the USA.
According to the website, shipping usually takes 2- 5 working days if you’re in the USA; however, my bag arrived the next working day.
Shipping is free for US customers, for anyone outside the USA, there is a $39 delivery fee plus, any import/ duty fees relevant to your country. International deliveries should arrive within 9 working days.
Teddy Blake Bags Packaging
Teddy Blake’s bags come beautifully presented in a thick card storage box. They also have their own dust bag, which will help prolong the life of the bag. It was padded with tissue paper to keep its shape while in transit.
I was so happy when I took it out of the packaging, unboxing certanally felt like a treat and my initial impression was thet Teddy Blake is a luxury barand.
Teddy Blake Bags Price
I already mentioned that Teddy Blake bags cost a fraction of the price that other designer handbag retailers charge. While $300-$600 for a handbag can still be considerrd a lot of money, you are still getting a luxury item that will stand the test of time.
My main question was, how can Teddy Blake make these luxury products and manage to charge so much less than other designer brands?
The answer is really quite simple. Firstly, they operate soley online, meaning they don’t have retail stores. This saves them a huge amount of money on store rental and staffing costs.
Secondly, they don’t use their budget for expensive advertising campaigns. Rather than pay huge amounts to celebrities and film crews to make a luxury advert, they rely on social media and bloggers such as myself. They are so confident in the quality of their products, they will gift an item to a blogger such as myself, knowing I will be happy to give it a great, honest review.
The Quality of Teddy Blake Handbags
My Gigi Stampatto Gold 13″ bag is bag is absolutely beautiful, and I have been so pleased with it.
The lovely pale pink leather and gold-coloured hardware work perfectly together. The stitching is all neat and in the right place which is often not the case with ore budget bags. Inside, it has a suede lining and a small zip up pocket. Overall, you can tell that they have paid attention to detail and this bag is of a high quality, luxury standard.
One of my favourite features of the bag is the removable strap. While I love holding a bag in my hand, it isn’t always practical. I also have a Mulberry bag, which I adore, but it has no strap, so sometimes I find it so heavy to carry around. The strap on the Gigi bag makes it easy to carry and perfect for travel. I will be taking it next time I go on a flight!
UPDATE: I now have 3 Teddy Blake bags and I have been useing them on repeat for the past couple of years and they still remain in great condition. I have been so pleased with them and honestly reccomend them!
Teddy Blake Handbag Review: Final Thoughts
While I completely appreciate that Teddy Blake bags can still be considered fairly expensive, it is still an investment piece and a staple for your feminine wardrobe. The dress I’m wearing in the photos is quite an old one, I got from SHEIN for about £12. I truly think pairing it with a quality handbag makes the whole look seem so premium!
In conclusion, I’m very pleased with this bag. I’m confident that it will stand the test of time! So does Teddy Blake deliver on their promise of luxury for less? I think they do!
