🇬🇧 Less stuff, more memories in 2025

Living in London means we’ve sacrificed space for location. While my kids did get some toys and other physical things for Christmas there’s a limit to what that need.
.
Just before Christmas we went on the London Eye and we loved it! It was even better as Auntie Emmie (who kindly gifted it to them) came with us! 🤎 @londoneye
.
We also went to the London Transport Museum, the ticket is valid for a year so we’ll be able to use it again!

I then renewed our @royalmuseumsgreenwich membership. I bought it last year and we’ve used it so much, it has been well worth the money!

✨2025 PRIORITIES ✨ . I don’t make New Year r

✨2025 PRIORITIES ✨
.
I don’t make New Year resolutions as I don’t believe it needs to be a new year to make a new start however, I did spend some time away from social media thinking about my priorities for this year. I wasn’t going to share them publicly but then I thought why not? While my content will remain mainly focused on things to do in London with kids, I want it to remain something that’s personal to me!
.
Most of these I already do in part but I want to make a conscious effort to improve in these areas:
.
🤎 HEALTH - eating well, getting 5 a day, daily vitamins. I’m constantly chopping fruit for my kids, while I eat fruit and veg, I have no idea if I eat my 5 daily. Honestly, I had to research what exactly counts as one of your 5. I want to focus more on having less processed foods and nutritious meals for the whole family!
.
🌎 SUSTAINABILITY - reduce, reuse, recycle. I believe we all should be doing what we can to help our planet. Gradually switching out products to more environmentally friendly ones.
.
🤷🏽‍♀️ SELF-CARE - as Mum’s this can feel impossible, I’m with my kids all the time, and there is no break! Creating time to work on my blog, is important to me. I also love fashion and really want to update my wardrobe. A lot of my pieces are now very well-worn! Getting my body back in shape after having two kids!
.
💰 SAVING - we’ve moved a lot and I have no desire to move again for a while but eventually we would like to buy a London house/ apartment. So we’ll start getting our finances in line to do this now.
.
⚖️ BALANCE - trying to balance all of the above, plus fitting in personal time for both myself and my husband. Accepting that I can’t do everything is tough for me. I know creating a good balance will be a challenge but I’m hoping small changes over time can lead to a bigger difference!
.
