Instagramable Places in New Orleans – The French Quarter
Beautiful Balconies
You’ll find balconies like the below on almost every corner in the French Quarter. The first is probably the most famous, therefore the most Instagramable balcony in the French Quarter! The second is my personal favourite!
Photo Locations: The Corner of Royal and St Peter Streets (left). The corner of Saint Louis and Dauphine Streets (right).
Jackson Square & St Louis Cathedral
Photo Location: Jackson Square (701 Decatur Street)
This is a perfect princess Instagram location!
This area gets extremely busy (even when I was there out of season) so you’ll need to be there early in the morning to get a clear shot!
Another great shot featuring the CAthederal is on Orleans Street between Royal and Bourbon Streets.
Hidden Streets
If you get off the main streets of the French Quater you’ll come across some absolutely charming locations! The two below were my favourites.
Photo Locations: 1215 Dauphine Street (left). 923 Barracks Street (right).
Other Instagramable Places in New Orleans
Canal Street
Sunshine, palm trees for days and the streetcars that run up and down, what could be more Instagram worthy?
Photo Location: The middle of Canal Street, roughly where Camp Street crosses.
The Garden District
If you love big, fancy houses, The Garden District is for you!
Photo Locations: Carroll-Crawford House – 1315 First Street (first 3). Carroll-Crawford House Coach House – next to 2333 Chestnut Street (last).
City Park
City Park is beautiful and there are so many Instagramable photo opportunities here! My Instagram account is more city than country so I chose locations that reflect this. There are also lots of beautiful country locations here as well!
Photo Locations: Outside the Museum of Art (left). Victory Avenue, opposite Story Land (middle). The Peristyle (right).
With Love Nola Sign
How adorable is this sign? Instagramable and also a great way to remember your trip to New Orleans.
Here’s me with my son who was more interested in trying to dig the plants with his truck than posing for Instagram!
Photo Location: Canal Place Mall, near Saks 5th Avenue.
