I’m still in shock that The Sky Garden is free to visit! To see the best views of London, it is an absolute must-do, whether you are a Londoner or just visiting.
I didn’t actually plan to blog about visiting here but when I shared a video from my recent trip on Instagram, so many people commented that they didn’t know it even existed, let alone that it was free! So, I thought I needed to share more about this hidden gem!
This is just a short post but I will tell you all you need to know!
Quick Facts about The Sky Garden
Also Known As: The Walkie Talkie Building
Opened In: 2015
Location: 20 Fenchurch Street, in the City of London.
Height: 155m
Opening Hours: 10-6 weekdays and 11-9 on weekends.
Dress Code: None! Although in the restaurants’ smart casual dress is required.
Viewing Terrace: is usually open and also free however it is closed in bad weather conditions.
How to Book
Book your ticket through The Sky Garden’s website HERE. Tickets are released every Monday for the following 3 weeks. From my experience, tickets sell out quickly, especially on weekends. So be ready!
Cafes and Restaraunts
If you fancy a treat, you can also eat/ go for a drink at The Sky Garden.
We had a drink at The Sky Pod Bar is located in the center of The Sky Garden. This is more casual and booking in advance is not necessary.
For something more formal, you could try The City Garden Bar.
If you’d like to eat, there are also two restaurants. Darwin Brasserie and Fenchurch Restaurant. I haven’t tried these out myself but you can find more information and how to book HERE.
