The Prettiest Pink Houses in New Orleans: Garden District

Below is a list of all the pink buildings and houses you should check out while you’re in New Orleans. Plus some tips on taking photos there!

Carroll-Crawford House: 1315 First Street

New Orleans’ pink house did not disappoint me! This is quite possibly the most amazing pink house I have ever seen. I think this would be Barbie’s tropical dream house! You’ll find this house located in the Garden District of New Orleans, which is a lovely area to explore.

it was quite quiet when we visited here on a weekday afternoon, so I had to take photos from both the front and the side views of this house; it’s just perfection!

Carroll-Crawford House Coach House: Next to 2333 Chestnut Street

I thought that pink Carroll-Crawford House was perfect, but it’s not just the house that is amazing; they also have a Coach House that is equally impressive. I’m featuring it separately as it’s located around the corner from the main house, so if you weren’t looking for it, you could miss it.

When I visited, I was horrified to see a large, ugly skip outside, so I had to crop it out of my photos. Hopefully, it will be gone when you visit!

1238 Philip Street

While you’re in the Garden District, be sure to stop by this house on Phillip Street (pictured below) as well. It’s slightly smaller than Carroll-Crawford House, but it’s still very pink and very pretty!

The Prettiest Pink Buildings in New Orleans: French Quarter

The French Quarter of New Orleans is absolutely full of beautiful buildings, and you’ll be spoilt for choice of Instagram locations and photo spots here. My pink highlights are below.

The Corner of Saint Louis and Dauphine Streets

The French Quarter of New Orleans is full of these beautiful, ornate balconies. I think I walked most of the streets, and the one on the corner of Saint Louis and Dauphine Streets is the pinkest one I found.

I actually prefer it to the “most photographed” New Orleans balcony, which is located on the corner of Royal and St Peter’s Streets.

Brennan’s: 417 Royal Street

Brennan’s is a restaurant, also located in the French Quarter. With all the cars parked and the business of the French Quarter, you’ll have to be lucky with your timing to get a photo here!

I was, unfortunately, unsuccessful, but I have seen other people with gorgeous Instagram photos here.

835 St Peter’s Street

If you’d like to add another pop of another colour to your pink Instagram feed, then this spot is for you! I tend to stay away from bright colours on my feed, but I still think this little house is just lovely!

This photo location is a hidden gem, tucked away in the French Quarter.

The Prettiest Pink Buildings in New Orleans: Warehouse District

I just have one pink location in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, but it is a beautiful one!

Gianna: 700 Magazine Street

Finally, another pink restaurant! Gianna is a cool curved building and is a lovely pale pink colour!

The colour, combined with the beautiful iron railings, really makes this place unique.

I didnt get the best lighting for my photos here, but I’m still quite pleased with how they came out!
