I’m always on the lookout for beautiful locations to share on my Instagram feed. Nashville was no exception. Read this post to find out about all the chic and beautiful Instagrammable places in Nashville.

I’m a New York City girl and a lover of beautiful architecture and all things pretty and feminine. While Nashville is mainly known for its party scene, there are also lots of architectural gems to be found.

CHIC INSTAGRAMMABLE PLACES IN NASHVILLE:

1. THE PARTHENON

I’m going to start with this one because it’s probably the most beautiful building in all of Nashville. It’s a full-scale replica of the one in Athens making it the perfect Instagram backdrop.

The best day to take photos here is Mondays. The Parthenon so this is a good time to get photos with no one in the background. I was surprised by how quiet it was around here, these photos were taken at around 11 am on a beautiful May morning.

2. THE WhatLiftsYou WINGS MURAL

Located in The Gulch area, this is the most famous mural in Nashville. It’s definitely Instagram worthy. The bus driver told me this tip for taking photos here: to stand a little away from the wall to get the best wings effect.

3. 12 SOUTH AREA

This was my favourite area in Nashville, probably because it was so Instagrammable. There are lots of murals here which always make perfect photo backdrops. If you’re a fellow pink lover then you should check out Love Shack Fancy’s pink floral wall and also the wall inside the Stoney Clover Store.

If you’re not into pink, there are lots of other places here as well. I wish I’d done photos by Amelia’s Flower Truck, there are a few other murals and Five Daughters Bakery is also really cute.

4. CAPITOL HILL AREA

Legislative Plaza and the Tennessee State Capitol Buildings are both really beautiful. We visited here on a weekday afternoon and I was surprised by how quiet this area was. It was easy to take photos without anyone else being in the background.

5. VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

If you’re looking for more city chic, this is the perfect location. I just love the colours of the bricks they’ve used here. These photos were taken at 138 25th Ave but there are lots of other great opportunities around the campus. It’s pretty big!
