If you’re planning a visit to Paris, you can’t miss seeing the iconic Eiffel Tower. It’s a perfect backdrop for Instagram posts or if you’re like me, for your family album. Paris is a big city and there are many great places to get a good view but in this guide, I’ll be sharing with you my absolute favourite five best views of the Eiffel Tower.

FIVE BEST VIEWS OF THE EIFFEL TOWER
1. AVENUE DE CAMOËNS
I think this is the most beautiful spot! You might have to wait your turn here but should be able to get nice photos here without crowds.
2. PLACE DU TROCADÉRO
Quite possibly the most iconic place in Paris to see the Eiffel Tower. This area gets extremely busy even if you visit in the rain like we did.
You’ll have to get there early to get a clear shot here. Alternatively, find an angel towards the edge to cut out the crowds, like in the photo shown below.
3. RUE DE L’UNIVERSITY
Another very popular spot and again, it gets crowded here. For full disclosure, I edited some people out of these photos!
TIP: There is another road close by called Rue Buenos-Ayres located close by. We ran out of time to get there but it’s supposed to be quite a similar view but much quieter.
4. THE TOP OF THE ARC DE TRIOMPHE
I love city travel but my unpopular opinion is, that you never get the best view from the most iconic building. The views from the Arc de Triomphe are worth the climb (there’s also a lift families with young children can take to the top.)
Tickets: Entrance is €16 for adults, under 18’s are free. Booking in advance is recommended, I also like to use a company such as Get Your Guide as they offer free cancellations!

5. THE BANK OF THE RIVER SEINE
There are a lot of different locations along the bank of the river with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower. You should easily be able to find one that’s crowd-free here!
Thank you for reading my guide on the five best views of the Eiffel Tower. I hope it’s helped you plan your trip.
