Bath is one of England’s most beautiful and historic cities, a place where golden Georgian stone, charming courtyards, and elegant crescents make every corner photo-worthy. In this guide, I’m sharing the most beautiful Bath photo spots and Instagrammable locations to help you capture the city at its very best. From iconic landmarks like the Royal Crescent to hidden corners locals love, these are the spots that truly showcase Bath’s timeless charm.
Bath is a small city, and it’s easy to explore all these places on foot, although it is quite hilly. I have also linked all the locations on a Google Map, so you can find the exact spots easily!

Bath Photo Spots You Won’t Want to Miss
The Roman Baths
The Roman Baths are the most famous place in Bath and are most definitely one of the most worthy Instagram photo spots in Bath!
The Baths were closed on our visit, so the photo below was taken outside. The columns and colour of the stone are so beautiful.

The Pulteney Bridge
This is a Georgian-built bridge with cute shops along both sides. This unique and beautiful bridge is the perfect photo spot.

York Street and Bath Abbey
Bath Abbey and York Street are both Instagrammable spots on their own, but I really liked the view of them combined! There are numerous great photo opportunities in this area. If you’re hoping to get a shot with a people-free background, I’d recommend going early in the morning. This photo was taken at around 7 am. (We have a toddler who gets us up early!)

The Circus
This road is a circular shape made up of large townhouses. They are very grand and beautiful. The curved, circular shape of the houses makes the perfect photo backdrop.

Camden Crescent
Camden Crescent is a small, pretty road in Bath where this absolutely stunning house (shown below) is located. If you’re visiting in the spring, then this spot is not to be missed. The wisteria is usually in season from May to June. We had to walk up a bit of a hill to get here, but it was so worth it!

Green Street
Green Street hosts a cute little row of shops overlooking St. Michael’s Church. This sweet street with the church in the background is a perfect Bath photo spot.

The Royal Crescent
Another one of the most famous locations in Bath. I don’t really think my photo does it justice! This is a must-visit photo spot in Bath; if you visit here, you won’t be disappointed.
The crescent is made up of grand townhouses laid out in a semi-circle overlooking a lovely green.

The Paragon
This is another of Bath’s slightly curved roads, full of beautiful townhouses! This one is not as famous as the ones I mentioned previously, but it is still a great one to check out, as it is slightly quieter.

BONUS BATH PHOTO SPOT: Newton St Loe Castle
I found this beautiful location on Instagram. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit it, but I still wanted to feature it here. Located a 15-minute drive from the centre of Bath is Newton St Loe Castle. This is the perfect Bath photo spot, so try to check it out!
