The Perfect Cigarette Trousers for Women
These women’s cigarette trousers from H&M are only £19.99 and so stylish! They are a straight, tapered cut and ankle length. You can’t tell when they’re on, but the waist is slightly elasticated, meaning you get a great fit. They come in multiple colour options, but I think this little beige check print is so sophisticated and looks much more expensive than £19.99!
For reference, I’m usually a UK size 8-10. I got these in size 10 and they’re the perfect fit. So size up if you’re in between sizes.

Casual Chic Spring Outfits with Cigarette Trousers
You can style these cigarette trousers for spring in a casual way while still giving an overall chic vibe. This is my go-to mum look. It’s perfect and comfortable for day-to-day, the playground, the farm and general mum activities. A simple blouse, tucked in and a pair of comfy mules. I got these in the Reiss sale years ago and they’re still going strong.
I love a cross-body bag as it allows me to keep my valuables close and still have my hands free. Just add a leather jacket on cooler days. I haven’t found one I liked recently, so I got this one on Vinted for a bargain £5.

How to Style Cigarette Trousers for a Smart Casual Look
Secondly, you can easily upgrade these cigarette trousers to make smart casual outfits. This is my favourite look and I’ve been wearing it on repeat! A feminine floral blouse in a muted print is so feminine and also cute. On cooler days, I’ll add this cardigan. A shorter fit is much more feminine and also flattering, as it still shows your waistline.
As we live in London, it’s often cold in spring. Sometimes I even layer on a trench coat for extra warmth.
Ballet pumps elongate the legs and look slightly smarter than mules. Alternatively, you could add a wedge sandal.

Smart Ways to Style Cigarette Trousers: Perfect for the Office
This look would be perfect for all working mums. I’m a stay-at-home mum, but I do like to dress up sometimes, just for fun!
By adding a luxury bag and some low heels, your outfit will automatically look so much more chic and expensive!
Chosing a shirt or structured blouse will also elevate the look. Again, the trench coat is perfect to finish off thrse outfits.
