The Best Nashville Photo Spots for Instagram
1. The Parthenon
I’m going to start with this one because it’s the most beautiful building, making it the perfect Nashville Instagram spot. It’s a full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, and the attention to detail on the architecture here is just stunning. There are plenty of different angles you can capture as well.
The best day to take photos here is Monday. The Parthenon is closed, so this is a good time to get photos with no one in the background. I was surprised by how quiet it was around here; these photos were taken at around 11 am on a beautiful May morning.

2. The Nashville WhatLiftsYou Wings Mural
Your Instagram feed wouldn’t be complete without a Nashville WhatLiftsYou wings mural photo. The angel wings in Nashville mural by Kelsey Montague is located in the Gulch area and is the most famous murals in Nashville.
It’s definitely an Instagram-worthy photo spot. There is the main size angel wings, and then just next to them, a smaller set of wings. Perfect for children to pose on.
The bus driver told me this tip for taking photos here: you need to stand a little away from the wall to get the best wings effect, which is what I did in my photo.

3. Amelia’s Flower Truck
Amelia’s Flower Truck. This is an adorable truck that has been converted into a mobile florist. It was very crowded when we saw it, so unfortunately, I didnt get a photo here.
Along with the truck, Amelia’s Flowers has multiple stores in Nashville. Of course, they are also very Instagrammable!

4. 12 South Murals
12 South is one of the most beautiful areas of Nashville. You’ll find lots of Instagrammable photo spots here, including lots of cool murals. The I Believe in Nashville mural is the most iconic and also a great photo to take to remember your trip to Nashville.

With a toddler and grandparents in tow, I didnt get to photograph all of the murals, but some other cute ones include:
- Draper James, Postcard and Stripes wall – 2608 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204
- Five Daughters Bakery, I Love Donuts Wall – 1110 Caruthers Ave, Nashville, TN 37204
- Garden Floral Wall – 2900 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204
Murals make perfect, free photo backdrops, i would highly recommend wandering in the 12 South area to see what others you can discover!
5. Nashville LoveShackFancy
If you’re a fellow pink lover, then you should check out the Nashville Love Shack Fancy’s store. It’s pretty, pink and perfect!
They also have a beautiful pink floral wall mural outside.

6. Stoney Clover Lane
Another pink photo opportunity or Instagram location is hidden inside the Stoney Clover boutique. At the back of the store is another cute mural saying Hey Y’all and a little stage setup, Nashville is the country music capital after all!

7. Capitol Hill Area
Legislative Plaza and the Tennessee State Capitol Buildings are both really beautiful. We visited here on a weekday afternoon, and again, I was surprised by how quiet this area was. It was easy to take photos without anyone else being in the background.
Like with the Parthenon, you can capture multiple different angles here.
8. Vanderbilt University Campus
We just happened to stumble on this location. If you’re looking for more city chic photos, this is the perfect photo spot. I just love the colours of the bricks they’ve used here. These photos were taken at 138 25th Ave, but there are lots of other great opportunities around the campus. It’s pretty big!
