The Most Instagrammable Parks and Gardens in Charleston

Hampton Park

This is a real hidden gem and so beautiful! I happened to come across it on Google Maps when looking for a playground for my kids. The trees here are stunning, perfect for anyone with a nature-themed aesthetic.

Waterfront Park

There are multiple pretty photo spots in Waterfront Park. The brick street is perfectly lined with trees, again, perfect for any nature-inspired Instagram grid.

If you have a sun, sea and sky vibe, the cute pier is the place for you. The iconic Pineapple Fountain is one of the most photographed places in Charleston, for good reason; it’s so unique.

Cypress Gardens

This is another hidden gem of Charleston, a lot of people skip it as you need a car to get there. This secret place to take photos in Charleston is about half an hour’s drive from the main city, and is worth it. It’s also where the boat scene in The Notebook was filmed, making it one of the most Instagrammable places in Charleston, SC.

The Most Instagram-Worthy Cafes in Charleston, South Carolina

Camellias at Hotel Bennett

Pink places are my Instagram speciality. Not only is Hotel Bennett super Instagrammable from the outside, but hidden inside is Camellias, a luxury pink dream and the perfect place to shoot Instagram content.

As I already mentioned, you’ll come across plenty of Instagram-worthy cafes in Charleston. Rise Coffee Bar and Clerks were two places we went to. In full honesty, Rise is super cute, but the drinks weren’t great! Clarkes was nicer and was also very family-friendly.

Other Instagrammable Places in Charleston, SC

King Street

King Street is one of Charleston’s most picturesque streets, lined with palm trees. Everywhere on King Street is Instagram-worthy, you’ll find plenty of pretty cafes, cute independent boutiques and shops from H&M to Louis Vuitton.

Rainbow Row

Here is another of Charleston’s most famous places. This colourful row of rainbow houses will have something to fit everyone’s vibe. Of course, I liked the pink house, and my son liked running around the lamp post with me!

We were told to get to this location early as it gets busy; however, we didn’t get here till the afternoon, and it wasn’t busy at all!

Charleston City Hall

If you’re searching for a beautiful and historic Charleston photo location, check out Charleston City Hall. It’s such a pretty building with so many angles you could capture. If you like a neutral grid aesthetic, this is perfect!

The Mills House Hotel

My Charleston, SC Instagram guide wouldn’t be complete without another pink location. This spot could have been designed for me (Alex Mills), and it’s gorgeous. If the Mills House Hotel is not Instagrammable, I don’t know what is!

Other Areas in Charleston to Discover Perfect Photo Spots

There were two main areas I found that had a of Instagrammable photo spots wherever you looked. If you search Ansonborough and South of Broad on Google Maps, you’ll be directed to them. I highly recommend wandering here and seeing all the beautiful buildings.
