Congratulations on your pregnancy! Having a baby can be an expensive time but it is possible to find on-trend and affordable maternity clothes. I’m currently pregnant with my second baby and maternity fashion has improved so much even in the almost 3 years since I was last pregnant!
This guide covers my favourite brands to buy affordable maternity clothes, plus a few shopping tips!

SHEIN
SHEIN is well known for offering trendy pieces at bargain prices. Their maternity range is no different. While I am a firm believer that SHEIN is pretty hit-and-miss when it comes to quality, I actually found a few great pieces for my maternity wardrobe.
Maternity tights can be so expensive, I got most of mine from SHEIN and have worked so well for me!
Shopping Tip: I found that pieces come up small. I ordered mainly size small (which is my usual size) I had to return a couple of things because at 20 weeks they were already too tight. I would recommend going up one or even two sizes.
PINKBLUSH

Everything I ordered was true to size and fit well, the clothes are also really nice quality.
While PinkBlush are more expensive than SHEIN but in my opinion, you can tell the quality difference.

H&M
You’ve most likely shopped in H&M for regular fit clothes, you can expect the same from their maternity range!
They’re great for basic pieces and often have discount codes online!
ASOS
Again, you’ve probably heard of and likely already shopped with ASOS. I like ASOS as they have a large selection and also a lot of occasionwear options if you have an event while pregnant.
Shopping Tip: Check out the huge sale section. I picked up a beautiful dress for a wedding in the sale for about £25 last time I was pregnant!
BOOHOO
With my first pregnancy, most of my maternity wardrobe came from BOOHOO. Personally, I think they have much more summer options than they do winter so I didn’t shop there the second time around. Definitely still worth a look though!
AMAZON FASHION
Amazon Fashion has exploded over the past few years. They now have over 90k options when you search for maternity clothes!
They offer a real mix of basics and on-trend items, mainly at affordable prices. Plus, shipping and returns are usually very quick and easy.
